And it begins..

My first day of WHRO started with the talk of an old man who had quite the personality. As we patiently waited to start our duties for the day he talked about how he has been in show business for about 86 years. He seemed quite dedicated to what he did. Not only was he in show business but he was in a commercial for the Superbowl! As we were called to the backroom another volunteer had joined us to help us eat the food WHRO had provided for us. Mmmm chinese. My first experience at WHRO wasn't the most exciting and actually a little boring but the staff was so welcoming and kind. For my first volunter duty with WHRO I was required to call multiple people and ask if they would like to donate money to WHRO. For the greater part of the time, I kept on getting voice-mail. It made the job quite easy, but also quite boring. Some people kept it interesting during the calls. I remember this one lady didn't like that she had received a call and spelled out a very nasty word to me. I was shocked how rude people can be when they can politely say no. Someone had woken up on the wrong side of the bed. I had called around 200 people that night and I swear less than half had answered the phone.

So, I went up to go to the bathroom...and look at what I found in there...

Hairy-spray? Kept in the public bathroom for the ladies? Haha okay...never seen that done before.
I find simple things funny.
